2 Years in the Making
In 2013 we started a journey of development in a space at the back of our school.
We call this space Our Living Classroom.
The animoto below shows our journey so far.
Look at what we have achieved.

Puhinui Stream Clean Up 2016
NZ Largest Environmental Clean Up
PEP took part in this event. On Saturday morning 38 students, staff and whanau volunteered and helped clean up the Puhinui Stream system. We met at the Auckland Botanical Gardens and headed off on a bus to Palmers Road in Manurewa. There we collected rubbish from the parks, beach edges, car parks and foreshore. It was sad and we were all shocked to see how much rubbish we found along this stream system.
We realise that it is important we all think about rubbish and do our part to keep our community clean and rubbish free.

Planting in September 2015
Our Enviroschools Team worked with Kate to plant some of our open spaces. We have planted almost 1500 native plants in the past 2 years. This time we were planting ground cover and ferns. It was back breaking work because the ground was really hard.
